Cancer is one of the biggest public health problems in the world. Therapeutic forms for the disease currently have many adverse effects. Thus, previous studies have shown that mesoporous iron oxide nanoparticles are suitable for bioapplications. Given this reality, this research aims to develop a nanostructured hybrid system based on mesoporous iron oxide nanoparticles (MIONs) and PDMAEMA, containing the anticancer Cisplatin. First, MIONs were synthesized and functionalized with APTES. Then, macrochain transfer agent (MCTA) was obtained and used for the polymerization of DMAEMA using RAFT polymerization. Furthermore, a HPLC analytical method was developed.
